Description
If you’d like to have a confidential conversation prior to your wedding, consider setting up some pre-marital counseling sessions. The purpose of these sessions is not to tell you both what to do or not to do but to give you the space to talk about what you each expect from your marriage and how to make sure you’re seeing eye-to-eye. These sessions can have a general focus or can be faith-based, or some combination: you both choose.
Each interactive session is scheduled for an hour, with 50 minutes being the length of the session with 10 minutes open for questions and ‘homework’ (which differs per couple and is based on what you both bring into the conversation). You are welcome to schedule as many sessions as you’d like, but the suggestion is for three, with the first one occurring at least two months before your wedding date if possible.
